A mineral filled polypropylene grass,
tufted into a durable weather resistant porous backing. A variety of artificial
grasses with differing playing qualities is included in the range. |

With an artificial grass surface, the polypropylene
fibres are used to keep the mineral fill (sand) in place. It is esentially
a sand surface whoose playing characteristics are determined by the grade
of NovaTurf chosen |

Shock pad |

To give more 'bounce' to the surface, the
NovaTurf can be laid on top of a base of polyurethane bound rubber
granular shock absorbent pad. By using different thicknesses of shock pad,
specific performance characteristics may be achieved. |

When first laid, an Artificial Grass surface
will just look like a bed of sand. However, the mineral fill soon settles
into the artificial fibres to give the final appearance. |
