The Site:
Dallow Primary School – Luton, Bedfordshire.
The Brief:
The Client indicated they wanted to rejuvenate their playground with colourful and vibrant surfacing. The current site had paving slabs with faded playground markings and the school were looking to provide a safer impact absorbing surface for a fun outdoor play space.
Budget: Met and kept within budget
Process:
Wet pour safety surfacing was installed across the playground in a striking blue. Play markings were also installed into the play area with fun block colour markings and a small road.
Protective fencing was installed to allow the team to work safely in the designated area, this also helped limited access and protect the children within the school while the works were completed.
We focused on ensuring that the works did not have an adverse effect on the school environment and works were completed in a timely manner.
The Outcome:
An exciting and safe playground was created which was a big hit with the children loved. The vibrant colours and fun play markings are enjoyed with all the children at the school and the wet pour surfacing provides a safe play space.
