The Site:
Highfields Primary School – terraced outdoor play space.
The Brief:
The client indicated that they wanted to transform their dull, worn out area into a vibrant and fun play space.
Process:
Wet pour safety surfacing was installed in bold brown and green colours. Oak capping was applied to the top of each edge which needed to be well protected.
The Challenges:
Protective fencing was installed to allow the team to work safely in the designated area, this also helped to limit access and protected the children within the school whilst the works were completed.
We focused on ensuring that the works did not have an adverse impact on the school environment. The works were completed in a timely manner.
The Outcome:
A fun, colourful and usable play space was created in an area which was previous unused. A slide will be installed on the green ramp to add even more play functionality.
