Squirrels Pre-School Play Area

The Brief:
The Client was looking to transform their existing playground with safety surfacing, incorporating colourful shapes and play markings. The playground was existing tarmac and children had drawn their own play markings with chalk.
Budget: Met and kept within budget
Process:
Wet pour safety surfacing was the chosen surface, perfect for providing a low-maintenance play space which will withstand the day-to-day use of children’s play. Coloured flowers were installed around the play area along with a fun hopscotch play marking.
Protective fencing was installed to allow the team to work safely in the designated area, this also helped limited access and protect the children within the school while the works were completed.
We focused on ensuring that the works did not have an adverse effect on the school environment and works were completed in a timely manner.
The Outcome:
The playground had a much smoother and durable surface for the pre-school children to use, the colourful fun markings provided fun features to the space and existing play equipment was installed back into the play area.
