Titchfield Park, Hucknall Playground Surfacing

Project Value: £12,000. Objective: Replacement of 400m2 of play surfacing which had become heavily damaged by moss and algae.

The client wanted to rectify the unsafe surfacing around the playground unit which had become broken and worn down, we did this by removing and replacing all the affected surfacing.

The end result meant that children can play in the park with an impact absorbing safety surface that is not only safe but visibly renewed and markedly improved. Crucially, we included colour wear pads in places for high wear areas to maximise the lifespan of the new surface and aid future maintenance.

Nova Sport maintains and restores play areas that are looking tired and showing signs of wear, including patch repairs, overlays, new installation & cleaning. The aim of this maintenance is to ensure play surfaces are kept to a standard that allows children safe play.
